Aberglaslyn
See the full force of nature as you follow the dramatic Aberglaslyn pass - a gorge like no other.
Cwm Bychan
Walk to the top of the foothills behind Cae Du for sweeping views of Llyn Dinas. Discover Cwm Bychan and the remains of an aerial ropeway built in 1927
High Road to Beddgelert
Walk into Beddgelert the high way by taking the path behind the copper mines for amazing views of Cae Du and the valley!
Moel Hebog
You might want to conquer Moel Hebog which provides a dominant view from Cae Du. If you get to the top at 782 meters high, you will be rewarded with sea views and can look back in awe towards Cae Du.
Dinas Emrys
Discover the legendary trail of Dinas Emrys where Merlin once trod and where a dragon still sleeps.
The Giants Chair
Not far from Dinas Emrys sits the 'Giants Chair' which boasts wonderful views of the valleys below. Make a circular walk and visit both attractions in one afternoon.
Slopes of Yr Aran
Enjoy a full day out walking across the slopes of Yr Aran, one of the many mountains you can see from Cae Du. You will reach the waterfalls at the foot of Snowdon and can make the journey back via Llyn Dinas to complete a wonderful circular walk. Those with that little bit more energy could even summit Yr Aran!
Walk to Rhyd Ddu
Walk along the Lon Gwyrfai - one of the National Park's most versatile routes stretching 4.5 miles between Beddgelert and Rhyd Ddu. This route offers fantastic views of Beddgelert, the Gwyrfai valley and Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). Catch the bus back from Rhyd Ddu.
Beddgelert Forest
Walk through the village to the foot of Moel Hebog before picking up a trail in Beddgelert Forest.
Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon)
Climb the highest mountain in England and Wales from the door of Cae Du! Take the Watkin path up and the Cambrian way down for a horseshoe walk. After conquering the climb, take a break and soak in the view whilst enjoying your flask of coffee! Alternatively, a 5 minute drive will take you to a car park to get that little bit closer.
